From Humble Beginnings

As a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of 4, I was busy! One of my passions became creating really cool cakes for my kid's birthdays. Each one used a different technique or skill than the last....some successfully, some.....not so much. I didn't have time for a hobby or a full time business but definitely wanted to explore this area of creativity. Years of fun and experimentation creating custom designed cakes for my kids naturally developed an interest in learning more about cake decorating in general. After taking several cake decorating courses, I decided to “open my doors” for business!

 

In May of 2011, Little Taste of Heaven was established with an already existing clientele of family and friends who had enjoyed my cake, cupcake and gingerbread creations for years. Since then we have expanded our menu to include cake pops, cookies, cookie cakes, hot chocolate bombs and other chocolate dipped treats and a large assortment of other treats available as stand-alone options or on party platters.

Here at Little Taste of Heaven, we use only the finest ingredients and our desserts are all made from scratch – you’ll never see a mix box in the recycling bin! We are fully inspected and licensed.
