From Humble Beginnings

​

As a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of four, life was always busy—but creativity still found its way in. One of my favorite outlets became designing fun, memorable cakes for my children’s birthdays. Each cake challenged me to try a new technique or skill… some with great success, and others as valuable learning experiences! While I didn’t have the time for a traditional hobby or full-time business, my passion for cake decorating continued to grow.

Years of experimenting and creating custom cakes for family celebrations naturally led me to want to learn more. After completing several cake decorating courses, I decided it was time to officially “open my doors” and share my creations beyond family and friends.

​

In May of 2011, Little Taste of Heaven was born, supported by an already loyal group of family and friends who had been enjoying my cakes, cupcakes, and gingerbread creations for years. Since then, the menu has expanded to include cake pops, decorated cookies, cookie cakes, hot chocolate bombs, chocolate-dipped treats, and a wide assortment of desserts available individually or as beautifully curated party platters.

We’ve also grown to include a new product line, Wholesome Home Bakes, featuring everyday favorites like cinnamon buns, drop cookies, muffins, assorted loaves, dog treats, and more—perfect for sharing or savoring at home.

​

At Little Taste of Heaven, we believe great desserts start with great ingredients. Everything is made from scratch using only the finest ingredients—you’ll never find a boxed mix in our kitchen. We are fully inspected and licensed, so you can enjoy our treats with confidence.

​

In May of 2025, we proudly celebrated 14 years in business, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.
